The purpose of this post, is, hopefully, without bragging, to convey how much better life is this year, as opposed to last.
I never really fully understood how environment affected people, until I stopped hanging around in Penrith, and started hanging around in the city, with my friends, and met new and wonderfuller people, and did more amazing things.
World is just so interesting, sometimes, for example, last week I found myself at at UTS exhibition put on by my friend Vanessa’s class(for want of a better word), which involved Vanessa running an op shop, wherein you could “buy” things by writing a short story about them. Tim had a display of slides on a microfische and there were other fun things, like a listening booth and photo displays. It’s really cheesy, but I am so proud and inspired by my friends. I’m also proud of Leigh who had an exhibition in a gallery in Rozelle, but I think I wrote something about that before. Photos here.
And today I spent the day with my friend Mel, who brought me an outfit to wear, just like doll! She leant me her Baby the Stars Shine Bright jumperskirt and metamorphose blouse. I also wore some white high heel shoes, but not for long. I am not so good at being a proper lady/loli.
In closing, world= not so bad.

It’s been SO LONG since I have left Sydney, properly, and I’ve found out that this year, after 10 years of zine production, I’m going to the Newcastle writers festival! More details to come, but I am very excited about:

* Noodle Paradise!!!!
* Long train ride!!!
In other news, I have a new doll!, My friend Leigh is exhibiting his art in Rozelle, and as always, all of these things are documented more fully on my flickr, as opposed to being written about here. Hmph. Don’t you love it when bloggers blog about not blogging?
