Hiromi Hotel(IMA, Brisbane, 2009) is being slowly dismantled. This week is your last chance to check out the Miss Helen Red Riding Hood Tent, cus by the weekend it will be gone.. or moved.. or something! Drop in for some secret tea party, and wish Little Red luck on her mission through life. If your name is Andrea, you need to go and steal our son before he is shipped back to me. My lovely Hiromi will be performing and shutting up shop, so if you’re in Brisbo, be sure to drop in and send my well wishes and deep love.

aka Baby’s First Lace Shawl. I am now completely addicted to lace knitting and finishing this made me re-pick up Ishbel, which was what made me want to knit a lace shawl in the first place. I went for Forest Canopy(nb: to non knitters, bits that don’t make sense are knitting pattern names) because it was written by the designer of Falling Leaves, which I made a year or so ago. I’d been struggling with Flower Basket Shawl for like 4 years, so this was quite the triumph of concentration and well being. It’s so wearable and beautiful and amazing and I don’t think I’ve been as proud of anything I’ve made as I am of this shawl!
